JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Clinical Services, will be responsible for the growth and management of the existing clinical team. This Director level position is a great opportunity to become a key member of an organization with cutting edge technology solutions for remote patient care.  Must have an excellent understanding of the cardiac rhythm device and remote monitoring space to effectively support cross-functional teams. This remote position demands a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and productively. The Director of Clinical Services works closely with operational leadership to drive PaceMate’s innovative and world-class approach to remote cardiac care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Oversee daily operations of the clinical team.
  • Collaborate with clinical management to identify and target areas for workflow and process improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard clinical staff as defined by operational objectives.
  • Implement guidelines for employee evaluations, recruitment, and promotion.
  • Oversee employee productivity and personal/career growth.
  • Work closely with the Director of Education to streamline the new hire training process and coordinate continuing education of the clinical team.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve scalability, agility, and efficiency that align with operational goals.
  • Work closely with operational leadership to define our clinical strategy, including initiatives such as measuring and improving clinical outcomes, organizational design and staffing, client satisfaction, and clinician utilization.
  • Own the approach of keeping the clinical leadership team informed and up to date on operational changes.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree required; science/health-related field is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in management required
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of cardiac device and remote monitoring best practice experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation to drive business decisions and process improvements
  • Excellent written, electronic and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, while maintaining attention to detail 
  • Experience working effectively within a remote, matrixed environment, specifically in a healthcare setting preferred 
  • Passion for developing processes, managing teams, and driving results 
  • Process or quality improvement skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom)
  • Demonstrated technical skills a plus

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
  • IBHRE certification a plus
