JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer who will join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will will have a strong background in Java development, Spring Framework, HL7 and FHIR api experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Java experience in working with HL7 data (experience with HAPI api is a plus)
  • Help with integration via the HL7 and FHIR protocols
  • Develop restful webservices in java
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the above integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, data analytics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development. Focus on healthcare integration a plus
  • Extensive experience with HL7 data and FHIR api a must
  • Experience with Spring Framework (experience with Spring Batch framework is a plus).
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have access to stable, reliable high-speed internet access.

Must reside within the contiguous United States.
During your employment, you will be expected to maintain a separate office/room within your home to create suitable working conditions and a sense of privacy.

Target Compensation: $100,000 - $145,000 depending on Length of Experience, Education, Demonstrated Skill Set and Certifications.
