You'll be one of the founding members of PaceMate's brand-new AI & Automation development team. This isn't just a development role—you'll be a key architect and partner in shaping the technical direction of our data services platform.
As our Senior PHP Data Engineer, you'll design and build the data extraction and processing services that power our platform. You'll work across web scraping, PDF processing, HL7 data feeds, and other healthcare data sources to create robust, scalable data pipelines. You'll also help build internal data tools that enable our product team to make better decisions.
This is a high-impact role where your architectural decisions will influence how we leverage data and AI across the organization.
Founding Team Member & Architect
You're not just implementing features—you're architecting the future of our data services. Your technical decisions will shape how we extract, process, and utilize data across PaceMate. You'll have significant influence on technology choices, architecture patterns, and team direction.
AI-First Development
We integrate AI tools throughout our development lifecycle. You'll use Claude CLI, agentic development frameworks, and modern AI-powered coding tools to move faster and solve harder problems. We expect you to leverage these tools as a core part of your workflow, not as an afterthought.
Complex Data Challenges
You'll tackle interesting technical problems:
- HL7 data processing and healthcare data standards
- PDF extraction with complex layouts and medical terminology
- Data pipeline architecture that handles diverse source types
- Performance optimization for large-scale data extraction
Every data service you build directly affects patient care and clinical outcomes. You'll see the real-world impact of your work in cardiac monitoring and patient health.
